Branch Revitalisation: A Modernised Branch Design for an Elevated Customer Experience

The brand-new, refreshed design of our Singapore headquarters (Cecil Branch & Premier Centre), titled Reiterating the Peranakan Culture, has earned the prestigious French Design Award, garnering international recognition for our customer-focused approach while celebrating the beauty and artistry of rich Peranakan culture.

Integrating the arched windows and façade of Singapore's historical shophouses in a contemporary style, our branch transformation masterfully blends Peranakan art and architecture with modern design elements, creating a unique and engaging banking experience.

Going beyond aesthetics, we have adopted the principles of service and experience design to forge meaningful digital and personal connections between our customers and staff. We have also incorporated sustainability concepts like natural light and ergonomic furniture to enhance the physical well-being of both customers and employees.

The French Design Award is a testament to our efforts in creating the banking experience, creating an inviting space that is both modern and culturally relevant, where our customers feel valued and connected. It also underscores our dedication to a future where banking is not simply about transactions, but about offering a banking experience that feels warm, welcoming, and personalised to each individual. 

Reiterating the Peranakan Culture for RHB’s Cecil Branch & Premier Centre also clinched the prestigious Silver Award for Interior Design (FF&E Design) at the 10th annual CREDAWARD ceremony. 

CREDAWARD stands as a pinnacle of achievement within China’s design landscape, recognising outstanding contributions to the built environment from real estate developers, architects, and interior designers.

With over a thousand entries from more than 60 countries vying for recognition, this accomplishment places us among the top 5% of design innovators globally. We are incredibly proud of our team's dedication to pushing the boundaries of creativity and delivering exceptional design solutions that inspire and elevate the built environment for our customers.

Enhanced Branch Network: Greater Accessibility for our Customers

From bustling city centres to the vibrant heartlands of Singapore, we are bringing banking services to  strategic locations in Singapore. In 2021, we opened our flagship branch at Orchard Premier Center, offering a premium banking experience in the heart of the city. The following year, we established our Parkway branch, catering to the needs of both consumers and businesses in the East. Most recently, in 2023, we opened a larger branch in Jurong to accommodate the growing demands of our loyal client base in the West.

This strategic branch network solidifies our position as an accessible banking partner for all our customers, ensuring they have the convenience and support they need, no matter their location.
