RHB Singapore Instagram (@rhbsingapore) Prosperity in Bloom Giveaway

Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”)
 

1.    Eligibility
 

The RHB Singapore Instagram (@rhbsingapore) Prosperity in Bloom Giveaway (“the Giveaway”) is open to all individuals who are of the age 18 years and above and currently residing in Singapore only (“Eligible Participants”).  

Employees of RHB Bank Berhad ("RHB") and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

2.    How to Enter
 

2.1.    To enter the Giveaway, Eligible Participants are to follow these steps:
 

2.1.1.  Share your 2025 financial goals inspired by the Year of the Snake in the comments section of the giveaway post and tag two (2) friends in the comment section of the Giveaway post (“Comment Entry”).  

2.1.2.    Follow @rhbsingapore on Instagram

2.1.3.    Like the Giveaway post

2.2.    For an additional chance to win, Eligible Participants can share the Giveaway post on their Instagram story and tag @rhbsingapore (“Story Entry”). Only one bonus entry per person per day will be counted. Bonus entries must be submitted before the Giveaway ends. Bonus entries that do not tag @rhbsingapore will not be counted.

2.3.    Only one (1) Comment Entry and one (1) Story Entry per person per day will be considered.
 

2.4.    All participants who submit entries must set their Instagram account to public and ensure that their tagged friends’ Instagram accounts are also set to public.

3.    Giveaway Period
 

The Giveaway begins on Saturday, 1 February 2025 at 09:00 AM and ends on Thursday, 6 February 2025 at 23:59 PM (Singapore Time).

4.    Winner Selection
 

One (1) winner will be selected from all eligible entries by Eligible Participants for that day (according to sections 1, 2 and 3 above) per day across the Giveaway Period of 6 days. 

The winner selection will be subject to RHB’s determination and absolute discretion at all times.

5.    Winner Announcement and Notification
 

5.1.    All six (6) winners' Instagram handles will be announced on our Instagram story on Wednesday, 12 February 2025.
 

5.2.    Winners will be notified via direct message ("DM") on Instagram from @rhbsingapore's account within 24 hours of the announcement.

6.    Forfeiture or Clawback of Prize
 

6.1.    Winners must respond to the DM stated in section 5 above within 48 hours to claim their prize. Failure to claim the prize within the specified timeframe will result in forfeiture of the prize.
 

6.2.    If the Eligibility criteria under section 1 or the entry steps under section 2 was not met during the Giveaway Period under section 3 or for whatever reason there was a disqualification under section 11 below, RHB reserves the right to forfeit or claw back the prize as the case may be.

7.    Prizes
 

7.1.    Subject to clause 7.3 herein, the prizes will be awarded at RHB's discretion as follows:
       Three (3) Prize winners will each receive a Fujifilm Instax Mini 90 Camera and a box of Fujifilm Instax Mini Film and three (3) Prize winners will each receive a Fujifilm Instax Wide 300 Camera and a box of Fujifilm Instax Wide Film.
 

7.2.    Prizes are non-transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other prizes.

7.3.    RHB reserves the right to substitute any prize of equal or greater value due to unforeseen circumstances. 

8.    Indemnification and Data Retention Form
 

8.1.    As a condition of accepting the prize, all winners must sign an indemnification and data retention form ("Form") releasing RHB and its affiliates from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
 

8.2.    Winners' valid photo ID must match the Form to ensure the person receiving the prize is the rightful winner. This is a standard security measure to prevent fraud and ensure that prizes are awarded to the correct individuals. 
 

8.3.    The Form acknowledges that RHB may retain the winners' personal information for the purpose of processing, administering the Giveaway or for a period up to 7 years to the extent such retention is necessary for legal or business purposes or required or permitted by applicable laws. Winners agree to the aforesaid retention of their personal information by RHB, the RHB Group and any third party involved in the Giveaway and its related activities in Singapore or elsewhere.
 

The Form will be emailed to winners as a PDF. Winners must sign and return this document within 48 hours of receiving it.

9.    Prize Collection and Shipping
 

9.1.    Winners will have the option to collect their prize at RHB's main branch at 90 Cecil Street, RHB Bank Building Singapore 069531 (“RHB Bank Building”) or have it shipped to their address within 10 working days after the submission of Indemnification form. All shipment related costs will be borne by the winner.

9.1.1.    Pickup at RHB Bank Building
 

9.1.1.1.    Winners who choose to collect their prize in person will be required to submit a screenshot of the DM notification, a signed copy of their Form and a copy of their valid photo ID. 
 

9.1.1.2     Prizes can be collected at the RHB Bank Building as per the advisement of RHB once the documents requested in section 9.1.1.1. have been verified by RHB.
 

9.1.1.3    Winners who choose to collect their prize in person at the RHB Bank Building will be notified of the exact location and pick-up time via email. 
 

9.1.1.4.    Winners who choose to collect their prize in person must bring a valid photo ID for verification purposes to claim their prize at the designated location.
 

9.1.1.5.    Winners may choose to authorise a person to collect their prize on their behalf. Winners must submit a valid photo ID of this person to ensure the person they have authorised to collect the prize on their behalf is the rightful person. Once this authorisation has been confirmed via email, RHB will no longer be responsible for how the prize is delivered to the winner.
 

9.1.2.    Shipped to Preferred Address
 

9.1.2.1.   Winners who choose to have their prize shipped to their address will be required to submit a screenshot of the DM notification, a signed copy of their Form, a copy of their valid photo ID, and provide their complete shipping address via email.

9.1.2.2.    Winners can only arrange for Prizes to be shipped out from RHB Bank Building as per the advisement of RHB once the documents requested in section 9.1.2.1. have been verified by RHB. 

9.1.2.3.    Winners will be responsible for any applicable shipping and handling fees.

9.1.2.4.    Prizes will only be shipped to addresses within Singapore.
 

9.2.    Winners' valid photo ID must match the Form to ensure the person receiving the prize is the rightful winner. This is a standard security measure to prevent fraud and ensure that prizes are awarded to the correct individuals. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, all winners acknowledge the risks in shipment and release RHB and its affiliates from any liability if the shipment of the prize is sent to the wrong person or address for whatever reason.

10.    Release of Liability
 

By participating and entering the Giveaway, all Eligible Participants agree to release RHB, the RHB Group and its affiliates from any and all liability from injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with their participation in the Giveaway or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize or any dispute regarding the eligibility of participants or the awarding of prizes.

11.    General Rules
 

11.1.    All entries must be made in accordance with these T&Cs.

11.2.    Any entries that are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent will be disqualified.

11.3.    RHB reserves the right to modify or cancel the Giveaway at any time without notice.

11.4.    The decisions of RHB regarding all aspects of the Giveaway are final.

12.    Instagram
 

This giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Fujifilm. 

13.    Consent to Collection, Use and Disclosure of Personal Data 
 

13.1.    By participating in the Giveaway, all Eligible Participants expressly consent, agree to and authorize the collection, use, disclosure and sharing of personal data by RHB, any RHB Group member, its respective employees, officials, agents or authorized persons to any person or organization in Singapore or elsewhere involved for the purpose of processing the Giveaway entry submissions, applications, supporting documents, providing prizes and any matter in connection thereto.  
 

13.2.   All Eligible Participants agree to comply with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (Act 26 of 2012). In sharing or tagging any other person or friend (“Tagged Person”) for the purpose of participating in the Giveaway under section 2.1 and 2.2 above, Eligible Participants confirm that they have an Instagram public account and their Tagged Person is obtained from publicly available sources only, i.e. Instagram public accounts. 

14.    Consent to Terms and Conditions
 

By participating in the Giveaway, all participants agree and accept the T&Cs herein.

15.    No Third-Party Rights
 

A person who is not a party to these T&Cs shall have no rights under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 2001 to enforce any of these T&Cs.

16.    Governing Law
 

These T&Cs shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and all participants shall be deemed to have agreed to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
