Impersonation Scams

It has come to our attention that scammers are impersonating as RHB personnel as well as customers in emails.

The scammers will send emails to customers, asking them to review and confirm certain transactions with RHB. Likewise, they have hacked into customers’ emails and sent instructions to the Bank, informing the Bank to perform certain transactions.

In these fraudulent emails, scammers may ask you for your Bank account number, Bank PIN and password, and the email may even include attachments and URLs. Do not, under any circumstances, reveal your Bank account details nor open the attachments and links.

If your email account has been hacked, please check in with your financial service providers to ensure no unauthorised transactions were made.

Please also be informed that RHB Bank will never ask customers to reveal and update their personal and account details or any other sensitive information pertaining to our customer’s account via email. If you receive such emails, please forward it to us at and then delete the email immediately.
