Account Opening Promotion - Golden Rooster Medallion Giveaway
1.   This Promotion is applicable to new RHB Bank Berhad Singapore customers ("RHB" or "the Bank") who open the Eligible Account as defined in Clause 2 at the RHB branches between 20 November to 31 December 2017 ("Promotional Period"), both dates inclusive or such other date(s) as may be determined by RHB at its discretion. By participating in this Promotion, you agree to be bound by these terms.
"New RHB customers" refer to customers who do not have any banking relationship with RHB.
Eligibility
2.   Subject to Clause 1, to be eligible for the Promotion, you must successfully open any of the following Eligible Account and fulfill any one of the criteria listed below within the Promotional Period:
 
a. Open a new High-Yield Savings Account successfully with minimum initial deposit of S$20,000 ("Deposit") or
b. Open a new Junior Banker Savings Account successfully with minimum initial deposit of S$20,000 ("Deposit") or
c. Open a new Premier Plus Account successfully with minimum initial deposit of S$200,000 ("Deposit").
3.   Customer must deposit fresh funds into his/her Eligible Account for the initial deposit.

"fresh funds" means a deposit of funds from sources excluding RHB into the Eligible Account. Transfers from existing RHB bank deposit accounts or via RHB cheque(s), cashier’s order(s) or demand draft(s) are not permitted.
4.   The type of currency available under this Promotion is Singapore Dollar ("SGD" or "S$") only.
5.   The Bank may impose an administration charge (early account closure charge) if the Eligible Account is closed within six (6) months of the date on which it is opened if customer has successfully made the gift redemption.
Gift
6. Each customer is entitled to receive one (1) Golden Rooster Medallion 55mm 24k gold-plated ("Gift") under the terms of this Promotion and shall not be entitled to any additional Gift regardless of subsequent additional Fresh Funds deposited into his/her Eligible Account during the Qualifying period. For joint account, only the main account holder will be entitled to redeem the gift.
7.   Customers will be notified of the gift redemption details on the same day when the Eligible Account is successfully opened. Customers are required to complete the acknowledgement letter at our branch.
8.   The gift is available on a first-come, first-served basis and while stocks last. The gift must be redeemed by the stipulated date indicated in the redemption letter otherwise, the gift will be forfeited.
9.   The gift cannot be exchanged for cash, credit or other benefits. The Bank reserves the right to replace the gift with an item of similar value at its sole discretion without prior notice.
10. The Bank will not be responsible if any gift you redeem is of poor quality, is not suitable to be sold or used or is not fit for any purpose. The Bank will not be responsible or held liable for any damage to or fault in any gift, or for any loss, injury or harm any person suffers in connection with using any gift. This Promotion is not valid with other offers or promotions unless otherwise stated.
General Terms and Conditions
11.  RHB Singapore reserves the right in its sole and absolute discretion and without prior notice, to vary, modify, delete or add to these Terms and Conditions and may also withdraw or discontinue the Promotion at any time without prior notice or liability to any customers. RHB Singapore’s decision in respect of the Promo shall be final and binding.
12.  RHB Singapore’s Terms and Conditions Governing Accounts shall apply.
13.  All participants in the Promotion irrevocably permit and authorize the Bank to disclose, reveal and divulge information regarding their information and particulars to any person (including but not limited to the parties involved in organising, promoting and conducting the Promotion) as the Bank deems fit.
14.  RHB Singapore is not obliged to assist or act on the customer’s behalf in communicating with any vendor in respect of the gift or for any other reason.
15.  In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any advertising, promotional, publicity and other materials relating to or in connection with this Promo, these terms and conditions shall prevail.
16.  The Bank shall be entitled to a reasonable period of time to process instructions and may not complete any placement / transaction in respect of an Eligible Account on the same day of receipt of the customer's instruction. The Bank shall not be liable for any loss or damage resulting from any such delay in effecting instructions or transactions.
17.  These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore and customer shall be deemed to have agreed to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
18.  A person who is not a party to these Terms and Conditions has no right under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act to enforce any of these Terms and Conditions
19.  By participating in the Promo, you hereby agree and accept these terms and conditions.
