Job Description

Primary Objective

  • Perform day to day operations of the team as assigned by Team Lead
  • Manage less complicated queries from business on SWIFT/payment related matters

Key Responsibilities

  • Verify all payments within the cut-off time imposed to meet SLA requirements
  • Assign AML alerts to internal stakeholders for Supervisor to release. Ensure all alerts are assigned by end of day. If not to follow up till closure to ensure all incoming/outgoing SWIFT messages are released
  • Keep abreast of SWIFT message format changes/release
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders for any UAT testing for new projects/improvements under guidance of team lead
  • Process/authorize Currencynet transactions


Formal Education

  • Diploma and above

Preferred level of Experience (By years/function/industry):

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Remittance operations at an established financial services institution.

Other skills required:

  • Conversant with AML requirements
  • Good interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Know how to prioritize urgent work and when to escalate issues to superiors
  • Can work under pressure
